Specht Jason Chiropractor

One pioneer by the name Clarence Gonstead designed a technique that became world popular in some years. It allowed chiropractors to define objectively, at each stage of the spine, the action of the nervous system. Together with this, Dr. Gonstead invented an x-ray analysis procedure that helped doctors to define the kind and direction of adjustments to the person and to the joint involved. He also made a technique to adjust vertebra without twisting the patients spine.

The new method made it simpler to discover what has to be adjusted and how this to be done in order the person to feel good. Dr. Gonstead was so good in his office in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin, a little town with not so much people, that he had to open a each with more than 200 rooms to welcome clients from all over the world. Soon doctors of chiropractic from every state and every chiropractic college in the country arrived to teach his system to the profession. The classes developed for more than 20 years and changed thorough the entire field including, and especially, the profession's fountain head: Palmer College of Chiropractic.

One of Dr. Gonsteads students was Dr. Don Specht. He left his office in Kansas to study the technique in the early 1970s. The doctor was very good in the practice of the Gonstead method and was fast hired by Palmer College of Chiropractic to teach the Gonstead method to the profession. Dr. Jason and Dr. Jared Specht, his are now going on the excellence of Chiropractic in Abilene, Texas. Jason Specht, D.C. established the practice in 1997 and his brother Jared Specht, D.C. joined him in 1999. Don Specht, D.C. moved to the area in 2007 and joined the clinic for some time. The Specht's are the only Palmer College of Chiropractic students in the Big Country who exclusively utilize the method.
