read moreStarlight Flight scenic flights was founded by owner David Snell in June 1991. Snell is a 1992 graduate of Louisiana Tech Professional Aviation with a BS degree. Snell created Starlight Flight to offer safe and cost effective airplane tours in the Dallas metroplex area for a unique date/special occasion experience. Starlight Flight and the FAA at Dallas Love Field worked together in 2012 to create the first aerial local tour-based set of procedures for safe tour operations. Starlight Flight was the first aerial scenic tour operator to be issued the FAA Approved Letter of Authorization (LOA) for conducting scenic flights.

read moreThe airplane that Starlight Flight uses is a 1999 S Model 182 (N120GR). The airplane is stocked with any/all supplies you need for a great flight! Two new BOSE A20 headsets for pilot/co-pilot and two David and Clark head sets in back. Full oil/funnel/flash lights, sick sacs, calculators, pens, note pads, cleaning supplies for wind screen/leading edge surfaces provided. The best part about this plane is that it is available for rent! The process starts with our "renters" calling ahead 1-2 hours ahead of their scheduled flight to request the Cessna 182 be pulled out in front of the hanger.
