The Subsurface Library is the Permian Basin's oldest and biggest privately owned geological data library. The Library has over 1, 000, 000 Electric Logs (800, 000 are barcoded and searchable by computer and 220, 000 are on Micro-fiche) as well as six different historical Scout Ticket collections, Sample Logs, Production Data, up-to-date County Land Maps and current Scouting Information. The Library has access to logs and well records statewide through its office in the Bureau of Economic Geology in Austin.
