John C. Chris) Swalling established the company in 1991, when the Big Six international accounting companies began migrating out of Alaska. He'd worked for such companies in Anchorage for twenty years - and didn't want to leave the State. Swalling, who was born and raised in Anchorage, began the company based on his vision to give Alaskan-owned businesses the same depth of expertise as the bigger companies, but with an even greater dedication to customer service and individual involvement. Gary Dixon and Wayne Eski became shareholders in 1994 and 2001, respectively, and the company has enjoyed steady growth throughout the years.
