read moreJennifer has been rescuing and fostering pets for over ten years. She works in a veterinary clinic in Green Bay as a Certified Veterinary Technician. Kevin has also rescued several animals over the years. Because of their love of animals, they founded Tender Heart Pet Rescue. Every animal they take in is cared for and seen by a veterinarian. Funding for this comes out of pocket and adoption donations. Because of this, we are only able to take in a few animals at a time. Unlike most shelters, we do not usually cage our animals.

read moreLeah was a 10 week old Setter mix puppy that Kevin found in a ditch while he was on his route at work. She was curled up in the ditch cold, wet, and hungry. He scooped her up, and put her in his jacket in his truck and she drove around with him all day. He even shared his lunch with her. That night he showed up at home with the little puppy he found. We took her into the vet the next day and had her checked out. She had a clean bill of health. We only had her a few weeks before a local veterinarian adopted her.

read moreWe are a donation funded rescue organization; that fosters and rescues unwanted and neglected pets. Each pet is treated medically for injuries, parasites, and vaccinated. Some pets are spayed and neutered. We also work on house breaking and behavioral issues. We then find them quality "forever homes." A veterinary reference and adoption fee are required to ensure quality homes. Donations are also appreciated to help offset veterinary, food, and supply costs. Right now we are in need of Foster homes so we will be able to take in more animals.

read moreWhat a great dog! Bo is all we could ever ask for. He obeys our commands, stays in the yard, and has been very good with people (and other pets) we have come across. He is now getting comfortable with his environment and our routine and we believe he will have a great life here. Bo has already been in the lake twice and has met several of the area dogs. Yes, we received the package you sent. He loves that Pheasant, thank you so much for your kindness. Bo is getting settled in. The first day here he dry heaved in the morning.
