Originally built in 1988 by Tom and Martha Jennings, the Bay House has always been a favorite spot for those who love Old Florida. The Jennings operated the restaurant from 1988 until August 2007, when the Jennings decided to retire and sold the restaurant to Bud and Thelma Negley. The Bay House has experienced a rebirth under the Negleys ownership. Under the leadership of Peter Tierney and Windward Hospitality, which manages the restaurant, the cozy yet stylish dining rooms all have received a makeover, yet the essential elements of the original restaurant have been retained.
