The Elegant Window

Amy Meinecke started her custom window treatment business, the Stitch Niche, in 2000 in Lincoln, NE. After moving back to North Carolina, she re-founded her business and changed the name to The Elegant Window to better reflect her specialty in couture drapery design. Amy continues her education in the art of drapery making and design by attending professional conferences and seminars and subscribing to trade journals. Amy is the founding member of the WCAA High Point chapter (Window Coverings Association of America) which supplies support and education for this industry.
