Thrifty Florist is a family run business with its roots in the metropolitan Detroit area. The 1st store was began on the Westside of Detroit at the corner of Grand River and Telegraph Road. We began by bringing in flowers by the truckload and selling them at unbeatable prices. We eliminated the middleman and passed the savings on to our clients. When we bypassed the middleman, we found that we were selling fresher flowers than other florists in town; and much to our suprise, our flowers were even fresher than the local wholesalers in town. Clients, to this day, come in and comment about the freshness.
