read moreThe owner has been the owner and manager of Tinney Rug Cleaners since 1986. He is the third owner of this business that has been operating in St Petersburg since 1920. He began his first carpet cleaning business in 1972, doing steam cleaning in Pinellas County as a price merchandiser. After several years in this business, he expanded into insurance restoration, water damage, smoke damage and odor removal. His was the first company to provide dead body odor removal. During this time, he also served as an instructor for the Fiber Cleaning Schools of America, where he taught upholstery cleaning.
