The word tistik means A warm welcome to you! In the Mayan language and that is just how you feel as you enter TistiK which showcases the artisanal work of Mexican designers, many from the silver capital of Taxco. Owner Perla Brito Cuevas was born in Taxco where her family has owned one of the most well-known jewelry stores for over fifty years. She grew up surrounded by pretty jewelry and knowing many jewelry makers and designers in her home town. Her name means Pearl, and she knew that one day she would create her own jewelry store.
