Trans-Bridge Lines. Was established in 1941 by A. J. Ferraro and other members of his family. The firm operated local transit service as well as charters and tour excursions from Port Colden, New Jersey to Easton, Pennsylvania, serving Washington and Phillipsburg, New Jersey and eventually Allentown, Pennsylvania. Ferraro established his Phillipsburg based lines when he took over the New Jersey Interurban Coach Company. In 1923 this firm had purchased a trolley firm the Northampton, Easton, and Washington Traction Company which was set up in 1906.
