Transportation Solutions president, Brenda J. Bennett, is well versed in the transportation industry. She is a nationally Certified Community Transit Manager and is a State Certified Drug and Alcohol Trainer. She is Certified by the National Safety Council to teach the four-hour Defensive Driving Course. She is certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to teach Driver's Education. Combined with eightteen years in management and transportation, Ms. Bennett's credentials more than qualify her to train individuals of all ages and driving levels.

read moreA driving evaluation may be necessary for an individual having difficulty due to physical disabilities, aging, previous MVA, CVA, medications, or any medical incident. Driving evaluations are performed by our on-site Occupational Therapists, COTA, and Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialists. Driving evaluations consist of vision testing, cognitive testing, a physical assessment and an on-road assessment to determine an individual's fitness to drive. A full report is completed and sent to the individual and their referring physician upon completion of the evaluation.

If a student between the ages of 16-21 completes six hours (three lessons) of behind-the-wheel lessons, the Department of Education permits us to issue a certificate that should entitle the student to a 10% discount on their vehicle insurance until they are 21 years old or 24 years old if they are a full-time student*. Your insurance may require you to complete a State Approved Driving Education Course in order to receive a discount.
