We trust that the Bible clearly teaches that man and woman were created ideal and holy; and in His will with each other. However, they lost this image of God when sin entered the world. Through Adam and Eve's disobedience, we currently have all inherited a sin nature, which separates us from God. We would have to die physically and spiritually and be apart eternally from God. However, God, in His great mercy and love, sent Jesus, true God and true man, into the world to rescue us from our sin nature and this separation by taking our death punishment. He rescued us by dying for us!
