Ever since Richard Paganes, founder of Tubby's. Opened the 1st Tubby's Sub Shop in 1968 in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, the best quality products, generous portions, and unique grilled-to-perfection flavor of Tubby's Subs has continued to be a favorite in metro Detroit. Rick's pioneering vision and unwavering commitment speedily propelled Tubby's growth and success. By 1978, Tubby's started franchising and by 1988 Tubby's had 25 franchises in two counties serving SE Michigan.
