TCMC supplies instruction in mindfulness meditation, a place to practice, library resources, opportunities to learn from visiting meditation teachers, and opportunities to participate in extended meditation retreats. Mindfulness meditation is simple. There are numerous different mindfulness meditation techniques, but they all involve focusing attention on a particular aspect of knowledge (for example, the body sensations associated with the breathing process) while cultivating an attitude of complete acceptance of the experience.

We partner with several local meditation teachers to provide classes, retreats and silent meditation sessions. We also invite out of town teachers to lead retreats in Tucson. TCMC is committed to providing a community that nurtures and supports the teaching and continuing practice of meditation and mindfulness in daily life. TCMC provides opportunities for anyone to learn and practice meditation from both local and visiting teachers.

By bringing a gentle awareness to your experience, you can discover your innate capacity for freedom and awaken a natural openness and generosity of spirit.
