Universal Cold Storage was established in 2001 in a 16, 000 square foot facility, of which 370, 000 cubic feet were refrigerated, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Within a year, due to client service and satisfaction, the location was out grown. A new location with over 325, 000 square feet, of which 4, 375, 000 cubic feet were refrigerated, was acquired, refurbished, and online by 2003. We currently have grown our operation to include an in house logistics service that allows shippers to consolidate their warehousing, shipping, and distribution into one seamless package.
