The School of Social Work (SSW) celebrates its 75th Anniversary with the 1st annual Student Scholarship Breakfast, aiming to raise $50, 000 for undergraduate and graduate student support. Nearly 70 percent of current SSW students are borrowing to finance their educations. The average college loan debt for social work graduates is $25, 500 and starting salaries for social workers average $28, 000 per year. All proceeds from the Breakfast will go to scholarship and fellowship awards.
