We recycle a large percentage of construction/demolition debris and responsibly dispose of the rest at our affiliated company or other permitted waste disposal facilities. Veit's affiliated company, Vonco, is not a typical solid waste management facility. We offer integrated waste solutions through solid waste processing that incorporates sustainable environmental practices for construction, demolition, and industrial waste, all at a single location.

read moreIn 1928, Frank Veit started Veit & Company. He bought a Chevrolet truck with a dump box from Osseo Motors and pledged never to let anyone outwork him. Our beginnings were as modest as possible, but our work ethic hasn't changed in nearly a century. Frank's son Arthur Veit joined the company in 1931. In the following years, Veit expanded our fleet by purchasing a Jiffy dump truck and a hydraulic dump truck from Osseo Motors. In 1939, Frank Veit passed away, and Arthur inherited the company. In 1941, Veit & Company purchased our first excavating equipment, an HD4 Caterpillar Traxcavator from Ziegler Company.
