read moreHediger and Meyers Insurance was established in 1921 by George Hediger and Harry Meyers. George and Harry provided insurance services to the Peoria area for over 40 years. In the mid-sixties, George and Harry sold their agency to their successors, John Voorhees, Dick Vosberg and Victor Sternfield. A number of years later, Victor retired. Dick Vosberg and John Voorhees continued the tradition of insurance service with a personal touch. John Voorhees retired in 1986 and passed the torch to his younger producers, Bill Voorhees and Mike Strode (present-day owners).
