Washington State Court Society

WITS is a society of court interpreters and translators in Washington State. We're proud of the progress our profession has made in our state. Through the state The Administrative Office of the Courts, many languages used in our courts are now being certified and programs for orienting judges and court staff on the use of interpreters in the courtroom setting have been produced. Research is continuing regarding the problems immigrants are facing in our judicial system.
