Washoe Legal Service

Since 1965, Washoe Legal Services has offered civil legal services at no charge to residents of Washoe County who cannot, without a lawyer, access or protect their basic requirements. WLS supplies a broad representation of programs and services and is a participating United Way agency. Washoe Legal Services supplies free quality legal services and representation to qualified residents to allow them to receive justice in civil legal matters involving human requirements and self-sufficiency. Washoe Legal Services recruits attorneys to supply pro bono services to address unmet legal requirements in the community.
