The knowledge of this ancient art is usually handed down by way of inheritance from family or secret societies. The training regimen is tailored to push and expand the limits of common traditional family principals such as: respect, discipline, patience, understanding, perseverance, making wise choices, and the capability to withstand physical and mental hardship.
