Where Techs Connect
Veterinarians in Sacramento, CA
Veterinary technology is a rapidly growing field. Most veterinary technicians work in private practice clinics or hospitals. Yet many other employment opportunities exist. These include working at biomedical facilities, laboratories, universities, zoos, humane societies, drug and feed manufacturing firms, the military and more. A career in veterinary technology requires at least two years of college training and, of course, a love of animals. Most programs result in an associate degree. Some programs culminate with a certificate or diploma.
