Pelvic Floor Disorders consist of a range of conditions including Bladder Control Problems, Vaginal Prolapse, Anal Incontinence and Pelvic Pain Disorders. An estimated 17 million US women are affected by urinary incontinence, 15% evolve anal incontinence and 11% undergo surgical repair of their prolapse problems. Many but not all of these conditions are related to childbirth. Women of all ages may experience weakening of their pelvic floor. As the weakening worsens, symptoms grow worse.
