Dr. Yoon grew up in Eastman, Georgia. He completed his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA.

This process is called "presbyopia" where the natural lens becomes stiff and inflexible, and our focusing muscles become weaker. With breakthrough technology, we now have a safe, effective and consistent procedure to correct presbyopia. This is performed by replacing the aging lens with a presbyopia correcting lens implant. Most patients who receive this implant are cataract surgery patients.
