Zeitgeist Community Learning

(ZCLC) is an innovative non-profit corporation delivering free after-school and summer programs to elementary (third-fifth) grade students in the Crenshaw District of Los Angeles. Zeitgeist means the spirit of the times. At ZCLC we're trying to capture that spirit and shape it into a positive force that affects the whole Los Angeles community. ZCLC not only provides a safe place for students to come during non-school hours in a neighborhood noted for gang activity, but trains high school mentors to supply homework aid and act as positive role models for the younger students in a range of enriching activities.
