About Me

Music has been my passion since the moment I picked up a guitar at the age of 13 here in Greensboro, NC. It’s been an incredible journey ever since.

Teaching became my calling, and by the time I was 20, I was sharing my love for guitar and music with eager students. From 1986 onwards, I dedicated most of my time to teaching private lessons, connecting with over 50 students every week. Alongside teaching, I also delved into studio work whenever the opportunity arose.

In 1988, I took a break from teaching to embark on the next chapter of my career: touring with the Florida-based band, Gunfighter. It was an incredible experience sharing the stage with renowned acts like Pantera, Robin Trower, and the late Jeff Healey.

In 1992, I returned home to Greensboro, NC, ready to immerse myself in teaching once again. Teaching became my anchor, but I also delved into the realm of music production, pouring my creativity into my own instrumental rock CD, “Event Horizon.” It’s been incredible to see it resonate with listeners worldwide, finding its way onto platforms like iTunes, Amazon Music, Spotify, and Apple Music.

If you’re interested in scheduling guitar lessons or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to help and share my passion for guitar and music with you. Thanks for stopping by, and I look forward to connecting with you soon!
