New Patients Welcome!

Providing Superior Back and Neck pain relief quickly and affordably!

Dr. Michael J. Brown opened his Sterling Heights office, Brown Chiropractic, in 1998 and has been serving the same community ever since. Our practice’s other chiropractor, Dr. Charles Lyons, has worked with Dr. Brown for 19 years. Dr. Brown has been an active member of The Michigan Association of Chiropractic since he started practicing. Having traveled throughout the world to spread chiropractic care, he is massively experienced and proud to bring his expertise back to his home state.

Main Symptoms Treated at Brown Chiropractic

Dr. Brown and Dr. Lyons diagnose and treat spinal disorders that cause musculoskeletal or nerve pain. The main problems that patients see them for include:
- Back injuries
- Neck injuries
- Joint injuries
Brown Chiropractic also specializes in disc injuries with spinal decompression and cold laser treatments.

Main Forms of Treatment That Brown Chiropractic Uses for Patients Regularly

Spinal and Extremity Adjustments
Spinal adjustment helps align the spine, allowing neural messages to get through unimpeded. Spinal joints and nerves need to be able to relay messages correctly in order to function. Dysfunction causes pain and, if left untreated, can cause spine diseases.

Adjustment of the extremities is equally important. Extremity joints are located outside the spine. They include hips, knees, ankles, etc. Every articulation of your skeletal system is vulnerable to misalignment, which can impair function and range of motion. An extremity adjustment helps realign and rehabilitate extremity joints.

Spinal Decompression
If you have lasting back pain and other related issues, you know how discomforting that can be. Spinal decompression helps relieve back pain or leg pain caused by sciatica. It involves using a traction table or a similar motorized device to stretch the spine.

Prescribed Exercises
Exercise prescription involves a plan of fitness-related activities designed to improve physical fitness and health. An exercise prescription spells out the types and amounts of exercise an individual should do daily or weekly to achieve specific health and fitness goals. Types of exercise include aerobic, anaerobic, flexibility, and neuromotor exercise.
