You’ll find that the perseverance, mental focus, and pride of commitment that come with regular Aikido practice can build your confidence and centeredness — on the training mat, in the office, and at home.

Chief instructor Ray Farinato holds a 7th degree black belt in Aikido and is a master instructor (shihan), certified by the United States Aikido Federation and the International Aikido Federation. He has trained in Aikido since 1973 and has studied with many Aikido masters in the U.S. and in Japan. We are affiliated with the United States Aikido Federation (Eastern region under the leadership of Yamada-shihan) and the International Aikido Federation at Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

Adult Class Schedule

Evening Classes:

Monday 8:00 to 9:00pm (in dojo)

Tuesday 7:00 to 8:00pm (Waveny Park)

Wednesday 8:00 to 9:00pm (in dojo)

Morning Classes:

Friday 7:00 to 8:00am (in dojo)

Saturday 9:00 to 10:00am (Waveny Park)

Classes are held in the dojo on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. 

Tuesday & Saturday classes are held outdoors at Waveny Park (New Canaan, CT.).
