At Wake Ophthalmology we provide routine eye care as well as specialized eye care for more complex eye disease. Our surgeons perform cataract surgery, cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery, tear duct procedures, laser treatment for for various conditions. Outpatient procedures are performed at WakeMed Cary. Patients have the option to choose multifocal or astigmatism-correcting intraocular lenses for their cataract surgery and we are pleased to offer laser-assisted cataract surgery.
A full service Optical Shop is available and our opticians can assist in customizing your glasses selection. In most cases your new glasses will be available within one week.
Additionally, our contact lens staff are trained to fit a wide variety of contact lenses including soft lenses, toric and multifocal lenses, gas permeable lenses and scleral lenses for keratoconus, dry eyes and other corneal irregularities.
