Michael J. Burns Architects, Ltd. (MJBA) was founded in 1983 and is a North Dakota Professional Corporation. Principal Michael Burns, AIA, CID, has more than 40 years of professional experience in both public and private sector work. Our firm is considered one of the top firms in historic preservation and adaptive reuse in our region.

MJBA has completed projects that vary in size, program, and client profile. They include county buildings, retail, mixed-use, multi-family housing, assisted living, offices, churches, residential, healthcare, hotels, schools, transportation, and higher education facilities. The firm applies its expertise in historic preservation and adaptive reuse when working with many of our clients.
