Bible-Based Worship and Community Outreach in Philadelphia
The Philadelphia Prayer Praise is a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching, and Bible-teaching congregation dedicated to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ locally and globally. Founded in 2025, our mission is to win souls for Christ and make disciples through worship, education, and community outreach. Our experienced pastoral leadership, including Rev. Dr. Douglas M. Carpenter, Sr. and Co-Pastor Rev. Dr. Felisa E. Carpenter, guides a diverse array of ministries serving all age groups. We emphasize spiritual growth through Sunday worship services, Bible studies, and specialized programs like the T.H.R.I.V.E.Ministry and Young Believers In Christ/Teen Ministry. Our commitment to community service is demonstrated through initiatives like the Good Samaritan Community Outreach Ministry, which provides resources and support to local residents. The church maintains a strong digital presence through live-streamed services, online Bible studies, and a comprehensive website. We foster intergenerational connections through programs like the Mothers' Board and Adam To Adam Men's Ministry while maintaining strict adherence to biblical teachings and practices.
