Steve Hanson Music - Lincoln Guitar Lessons & Bluegrass Camps
Steve Hanson Music has been a cornerstone of Lincoln's music scene for over four decades. Founded by award-winning musician Steve Hanson, our business combines hands-on instruction, live performance, and immersive music experiences. With expertise spanning bluegrass, jazz, and classical styles, we offer personalized guitar, banjo, and mandolin lessons tailored to students of all skill levels. Our annual Bluegrass Camps at Hidden Paradise Long Pine provide four days of intensive instruction alongside outdoor activities, reflecting Steve's dual passion for music and nature. As Nebraska's exclusive dealer for Wegan Picks, we also supply premium tools for serious musicians. Steve's career highlights include a Nebraska Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, a Mayors Arts Award, and collaborations with legends like Doc Watson and Ralph Stanley. Our studio on North 48th Street serves as both a teaching space and a hub for local music production, continuing a legacy of musical excellence rooted in Lincoln since the 1970s.
