Mother Of Our Redeemer Cthlc in Miami, FL
Established in 1988, Mother Of Our Redeemer Cthlc has been a cornerstone of spiritual and educational service in North Miami Lakes. Our parish was founded by Father Fernando Compaired, who led the community for 17 years, overseeing the construction of our Parish Center and laying the foundation for our enduring mission. In 2002, we expanded our commitment to education by establishing a school that now serves students from Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade, providing a Christ-centered curriculum rooted in moral and religious values. Under the leadership of Father Jaime Acevedo and later Father John P. Hernandez, we have grown to offer seven weekend Masses in both English and Spanish, daily worship opportunities, and a vibrant array of ministries that enrich our spiritual and communal life.

Our community of over 2,000 families continues to work toward the realization of a Main Sanctuary, reflecting our dedication to faith, hope, and love. We take pride in fostering priestly and religious vocations, with three alumni now serving as priests and a nun in the Carmelite Monastery of Rochester. Our doors remain open to all seeking worship, education, and fellowship, guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ and the leadership of Archbishop Thomas Wenski. Through decades of service, we have remained steadfast in our mission to nurture both the spiritual and intellectual growth of our parishioners, ensuring a legacy of faith for future generations.
