Welcome to Axe Memorial United Methodist
Established in 1951, we have served the Garland community by sharing messages of hope and demonstrating God's redemptive love. Our mission extends beyond Sunday worship, actively reaching out to local and global communities to show God's care. As part of The United Methodist Church, our faith is rooted in scripture, tradition, experience, and reason. We uphold Trinitarian beliefs, affirming one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We emphasize justification by faith in Christ, not works, and believe regeneration through the Holy Spirit enables believers to serve God.While we affirm the possibility of falling from grace, we trust in God's power to renew righteousness. Good works, as fruits of faith, reflect our commitment to living out our beliefs. Our outreach includes community service, discipleship programs, and global missions. We welcome all to experience God's love through worship, education, and service opportunities.
