Services
Worship Services
Our Sunday worship experiences combine traditional Lutheran liturgy with contemporary elements. The 8:30am service offers intimate in-person communion, while the 10:00am service features full choir participation and live-streaming for virtual attendees. Both services follow the liturgical calendar with scripture-based sermons that connect ancient teachings to modern life.
Bible Studies
Weekly Bible study sessions explore scripture through historical context and modern application. TheALEogy discussions at Mimi's Cafe examine faith intersections with current events, while Wednesday evening studies focus on specific books of the Bible. All sessions encourage open dialogue while maintaining theological integrity.
Youth Ministry
Pastor Luis Ochoa leads age-appropriate programs for children through high school graduates. Activities include Sunday School, confirmation classes, and special events that build faith foundations. The ministry emphasizes relationship-building through service projects, retreats, and social gatherings that connect families.
Music Ministry
Our music program features adult choir and handbell ensembles that rehearse weekly. Under Charles Zoll's direction, musicians of all skill levels contribute to worship through classical, contemporary, and liturgical music. Special concerts throughout the year showcase both sacred and secular compositions in a community-building context.
Community Outreach
Through local partnerships and global mission initiatives, we address social needs year-round. Monthly Fifth Sunday donation drives support specific causes like veterans' cognitive care programs. Our Caring Ministry coordinates visitation, prayer networks, and practical assistance for congregation members and community residents.
