Premier Shotgun Sports Experience in Montgomery, AL
Lower Wetumpka Shotgun Sports Club has been dedicated to providing premier shooting sports experiences since our founding in 2001. Established by Gary, Fred, and Paul Woolard as a personal shooting destination, we expanded to serve the community after the closure of a local skeet field during runway resurfacing projects. Over two decades, we've developed comprehensive facilities including sporting clays courses, a covered 5-stand, trap and skeet fields, and continental pheasant hunts. Our team combines generational shooting expertise with modern amenities to serve both novice and professional shooters.

Located just minutes from downtown Montgomery and Interstate-65, we offer convenient access to Alabama's premier shooting destination. Our experienced instructors provide personalized guidance for all skill levels, while our event spaces accommodate corporate outings, charity events, and private celebrations. We maintain state-of-the-art equipment for rent and implement rigorous safety protocols across all operations. Through continuous course improvements and innovative event programming, we remain committed to advancing shooting sports in the Southeastern United States.
