Your Home for Worship, Growth, and Service in Montgomery
At New Testament Christian Center, we are a Spirit-filled community dedicated to worshiping God in spirit and truth. Our mission is rooted in Ephesians 1:17-18, guiding believers to know God intimately, grow in faith, serve others selflessly, and impact the world for Christ. We offer weekly worship services, Bible studies, and prayer gatherings designed to foster spiritual growth and community connection. Our leadership team, including Lead Pastor Joel Mitchell and First Lady Lydia Mitchell, prioritizes creating an inclusive environment where all individuals feel welcomed as part of God's family. Through Deeper Life Classes, Connect Groups, and specialized ministries for children and youth, we provide pathways for every generation to engage meaningfully with scripture and fellow believers. Our core beliefs align with biblical teachings about the Trinity, salvation through Christ, the Holy Spirit's active role, and the importance of water baptism. We maintain both in-person and online worship options to accommodate diverse needs, with small group sessions available throughout the week. As a church committed to service, we emphasize practical application of faith through outreach programs and community engagement initiatives. Our facilities in Montgomery, AL, serve as a hub for spiritual development, with structured programs like Growth Track/First Steps to help newcomers integrate into church life. We believe in the power of prayer as a foundational practice, offering dedicated prayer times and opportunities to submit personal prayer requests to our team.
