Your Premier Golf & Country Club Experience in Norwalk, IA
Echo Valley Country Club was founded in 1969 by Des Moines business leaders E.C. Coppola and Hy Diamond, who envisioned an inclusive private club contrasting with the exclusionary policies of the era. Our 27-hole championship golf course, designed by Edward L. Packard, has earned recognition including Iowa Golf Association's 2013 Course of the Year. Through decades of enhancements like our 2023 irrigation system upgrades and Capillary Concrete bunkers, we maintain Midwest-leading facilities. Our members enjoy not just golf but a complete lifestyle with our pool complex featuring a 25-meter pool and toddler area, tennis courts with professional instruction, and exclusive access to Genesis Health Clubs. The 1994 and 2007 clubhouse renovations modernized our dining and event spaces while preserving the club's historic charm. With flexible booking through the ForeTees App and no permanent tee times, members maximize their playing opportunities. Our staff's dedication to personalized service creates the welcoming atmosphere that has sustained our community for over 50 years. From junior golf programs to twilight outings, we cultivate intergenerational connections through sport and social events. The club's commitment to continuous improvement ensures our facilities remain at the forefront of private club excellence in central Iowa.
