Services
Worship Services
Our weekly worship services feature traditional Lutheran liturgy with contemporary relevance. Held every Sunday at 10:00 AM, these services include scripture readings, sermons, and Holy Communion. The services follow the liturgical calendar, incorporating special observances for holidays and seasons like Lent and Advent. Our worship environment welcomes both long-time Lutherans and those exploring the Christian faith.
Bible Studies
We offer multiple Bible study opportunities throughout the week, including Sunday morning sessions following worship and midweek studies. These interactive sessions explore scripture passages, theological concepts, and practical applications for daily living. Participants engage in thoughtful discussion while deepening their understanding of God's Word through guided study and reflection.
Community Outreach
Our outreach programs serve local families through initiatives like our food pantry that assists 8-12 households monthly. We partner with organizations like Habitat for Humanity and maintain active involvement in neighborhood improvement projects. These efforts reflect our commitment to living out Christ's teachings through practical service to those in need within our community.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School program provides age-appropriate religious education for children from preschool through high school. The curriculum focuses on biblical stories, Lutheran doctrine, and moral development through engaging activities. We also offer special programs like Vacation Bible School during summer months to reinforce learning in a fun, interactive environment.
Pastoral Care
Pastoral care includes visitation for homebound members, hospital visits, and spiritual counseling. Pastor Abel Villos and our lay leaders provide support during life's challenges through prayer, scripture reading, and compassionate listening. This ministry extends to both congregation members and community members seeking spiritual guidance or comfort during difficult times.
