Childbloom Guitar Program: Music Education for Kids
At Childbloom Guitar Program, we have dedicated ourselves exclusively to teaching children since 1980. Our program was the first national initiative to introduce young learners to music through the guitar, and we continue to prioritize age-appropriate curriculum development, child-centered pedagogy, and comprehensive musicianship training. All instructors undergo rigorous vetting, including background checks, skill auditions, and specialized training in child development models and guitar physiology.

We maintain weekly parent communication to ensure personalized support while fostering discipline, confidence, and artistic growth in students aged 5 and up. Our structured performance opportunitiesfrom classroom presentations to formal recitalscreate tangible milestones for young musicians to celebrate their progress.

Both of my girls take lessons at Childbloom. The older one has been at it for 9 years and younger one for 4 years. They are both soccer players, and music lessons helps them to be more well rounded. We are very pleased with their musical progress!

My kids (ages 14 & 10) have been taking lessons with The Childbloom Guitar Program (Chris Peleshenko) for the past 4 years, and I highly recommend this program for your children too! Learning classical guitar from an instructor who is fantastic at 'tuning in' (ha!) to each child at his/her level is a great way to instill in them an appreciation of music, a sense of accomplishment, self-discipline, and CONFIDENCE - all of which they'll carry with them as they grow. Plus, learning classical guitar teaches proper technique and skills that will enable kids to play ANY style of music they choose! Check out Childbloom and see if there's a program near where you live. It really has enriched my kids' lives in ways they'll carry with them into adulthood!
