Hyspan Precision Products was founded in 1968 with comprehensive engineering, quality, and production capabilities. We specialize in designing, developing, and fabricating metal bellows, hoses, and assemblies that incorporate these components. Our technical expertise is combined with sound management practices to deliver reliable, long-lasting solutions. Over five decades, we have grown through strategic acquisitions, forming an organization with seven subsidiaries and divisions. We are the only manufacturer offering all four types of metal expansion joint technologies: bellows joints, ball joints, slip joints, and braided hoses. This diversity allows us to provide best-fit solutions without limiting options to one or two technologies.Our acquisitions include American BOA, Anaconda/Anamet, Barco, and Flexider Industrial, among others. Our sales and engineering teams support replacement, custom-design, prototype, and defense projects. We operate facilities in the U.S. and Mexico, including Hyspan de Mxico, a maquiladora plant with full manufacturing capabilities. Metal Bellows
Metal bellows absorb axial, lateral, and angular motions in piping systems. Our products reduce stress from thermal expansion, settlement, and seismic activity while maintaining leak-free performance. Single-ply and multi-ply designs handle pressures from full vacuum to high-pressure applications.
Ball Joints
Ball joints provide angular and torsional motion absorption without pressure thrust forces. Thick components ensure safety in high-pressure environments. Two or three-joint configurations accommodate small to extreme movements in compact spaces.
Slip Joints
Packed slip joints handle high pressures and large axial movements. Dual designs offer redundancy for critical systems. Common applications include steam lines, geothermal wells, and abrasive media transport systems.
Braided Hoses
Braided metal hoses provide vibration reduction and multi-axis motion compensation. Multiple braid layers handle extreme pressures while internal liners protect against abrasion. Used in pump connections and seismic motion isolation.
Venturi Systems
