Woodland Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1975 and has grown from a converted house to an 11,000-square-foot facility offering comprehensive veterinary services. Our hospital has undergone multiple expansions to better serve Woodland and surrounding communities, including adding boarding kennels in 2000 and expanding training spaces in 2005. Under the leadership of Drs. Ellie Johnson and Keith Rode since 2019, we maintain a team of seven veterinarians and approximately 60 support staff dedicated to compassionate pet care. We provide medical, dental, diagnostic, and surgical services for dogs, cats, pocket pets, and reptiles, while also offering boarding and agility training. Recognized with the 2008 Meritorious Service Award by the California Veterinary Medical Association, we emphasize preventative care and the human-animal bond.Our facility operates seven days a week to accommodate emergencies and has maintained continuous ownership transitions among experienced veterinary professionals.
