Backstage Dance has been dedicated to dance education since 2006, offering comprehensive training for children and teens in Knoxville, TN. Our mission focuses on developing technical excellence while fostering life skills like discipline, confidence, and teamwork. With five specialized studios featuring Marley sprung floors and ballet barres, we provide instruction in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Acro, and age-specific combo classes. Under Artistic Director Talia Childers, our qualified faculty maintains small class sizes to ensure personalized attention while cultivating a supportive family atmosphere. We serve both recreational dancers and pre-professional students through our Performance Teams and Releve' Elite Company programs.Our curriculum emphasizes not only dance mastery but also character development, preparing students for success in any field. The studio includes an in-house boutique for classwear and costumes, alongside dedicated spaces for costume creation and prop storage. Having grown from a single room to a multi-studio facility, we remain committed to making dance accessible to all skill levels and body types.
