El Camino Country Club

We are El Camino Country Club, a premier golf and lifestyle destination in Oceanside, California, with a rich operational history dating back to our 1958 founding. Our championship golf course was designed by renowned architect William H. Johnson, who intentionally preserved the natural rolling ranch terrain to create a unique, balanced playing experience. We maintain a par 72, 6,840-yard layout featuring undulating Kikuyu fairways, Bermuda tees, and Bentgrass greens framed by native eucalyptus and Monterey pine stands. Our course includes more than 60 strategically placed bunkers, scattered water hazards, and deep roughs that deliver a challenging, fair test for golfers of all skill levels. We have earned a reputation as one of San Diego Countys finest private clubs, having hosted numerous PGA and LPGA qualifiers and the Southern California Senior PGA Championship. In 2016, we invested in significant course improvements, including re-sodding fairways, expanding greens with new Bentgrass collars, and refreshing all bunkers to preserve course integrity.
