Nursing Services
Our licensed nursing professionals provide 24/7 care for children aged 6 weeks to 22+ years, including medication administration, respiratory treatments, trach care, and enteral feedings. Each child receives a personalized care plan developed by RN Case Managers and approved by primary care physicians. Our team includes registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and certified nursing assistants who work alongside educators to ensure comprehensive medical support.
Weekend Program
Overnight weekend care operates three weekends monthly at both locations, offering parents temporary relief from caregiving responsibilities. Medically fragile children receive skilled nursing care and participate in themed activities from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. This program provides socialization opportunities with peers while maintaining medical safety standards, including holiday celebrations and structured recreational activities.
After School Program
Specialized care for school-age medically fragile children after regular school hours, including transportation assistance when available. Our program offers a transition period for children to relax after school while completing nursing needs before parental pickup. Structured activities and educational play occur during this time, with consistent scheduling that supports family routines and minimizes disruption to existing nursing shifts.
Transitional Care Unit
Day program for young adults aged 22+ who previously attended pediatric day health centers, providing continued skilled nursing care beyond public school eligibility. Our curriculum focuses on self-sufficiency development while maintaining medical support standards. Participants can also access weekend programming with themed activities, ensuring continuity of care and socialization opportunities for adults with complex medical needs.
Sensory Integration Room
Multi-sensory environments designed to help children regulate sensory input through controlled auditory, visual, and tactile stimulation. These therapeutic spaces feature specialized equipment to develop sensory processing skills while providing a safe environment for self-regulation. Rooms are tailored to individual abilities, allowing children to explore sensory experiences at their own pace within their developmental limitations.
