Your Child's First Step in Faith-Based Learning
Tempe Christian School has been dedicated to providing quality Christian early education since 1971. Originally established as Tempe Christian School, we transitioned to a year-round preschool in 2005, serving infants through preK in the Phoenix and East Valley areas. Our program operates under Tempe Nazarene Church, fostering a faith-based environment where children develop spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. We emphasize a whole-child approach, integrating Biblical principles into daily learning while adhering to Arizona Early Learning Standards. Our curriculum balances structured and unstructured activities to nurture individual growth and prepare children for future academic success.Teachers and staff prioritize prayerful guidance and Biblical teachings in all aspects of education. We maintain clear distinctions between secular and Christian values, celebrating faith-centered holidays and ensuring all media aligns with our moral standards. Parental involvement is encouraged through volunteer opportunities, donations, and community-building initiatives like our Parent Action Community. Our facility offers comprehensive programs with daily updates shared via a parent portal. With over 50 years of experience, we remain committed to building a strong spiritual foundation for every child.

Daily routines include structured playtime, music activities, and age-appropriate learning experiences that prepare babies for future educational milestones.
Toddler Programs
Designed for 18-36 month-olds, our toddler programs balance exploration with foundational learning. Children develop social skills through group activities while building language and motor abilities. Biblical stories are introduced through interactive play, and daily routines emphasize independence and positive behavior patterns.
Preschool Education
Our preschool curriculum prepares 3-5 year-olds for kindergarten through play-based learning. Students engage in literacy, math readiness, and science activities integrated with Christian teachings. Weekly themes explore God's creation while developing critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving skills in a structured classroom environment.
In-School Enrichment
Enrichment activities include music, art, and physical development classes. Children participate in seasonal celebrations focused on faith-based holidays, along with field trips to local educational sites. Specialized instruction introduces basic Spanish vocabulary and environmental awareness through nature-based learning.
