Aldeen Golf Club

Aldeen Golf Club has been setting the standard for upscale public golf in northern Illinois since our opening in 1991. Founded through the vision of Norris and Margaret Aldeen, who sought to create an affordable country club experience for working families, we've maintained a commitment to excellence in course design and service. Our 18-hole championship course, designed by Dick Nugent Associates, features 7,131 yards of meticulously maintained fairways, 62 sand bunkers, and water hazards on 12 holes, including the iconic island-green 8th hole. The 26-acre practice center offers Midwest golfers one of the region's premier warm-up facilities with identical turf conditions to the main course.

As Rockford's premier public golf destination, we combine championship-caliber play with accessible pricing and exceptional service. Our UMB Bank Pavilion provides versatile event space for weddings and corporate functions with panoramic golf course views. With four sets of tees accommodating all skill levels, we serve both casual players and competitive golfers through events like the annual Aldeen Cup tournament. Our PGA-certified instructors offer comprehensive golf lessons for players of all ages and abilities. Located just an hour from Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison, we've become a regional hub for golf excellence while maintaining our founders' commitment to public accessibility.
