Welcome to Unitarian Universalist Church
Founded in 1955, Unitarian Universalist Church has served as a progressive spiritual community dedicated to fostering personal growth and social justice. Our congregation was established by individuals committed to civil rights and interfaith dialogue, evolving from historic Unitarian and Universalist traditions. We provide inclusive worship services that blend music, reflection, and sermons, emphasizing individual spiritual exploration over dogma. Our facilities support over 275 adult members and 60 youth through religious education programs, community-building events, and environmental initiatives. The church's 2013 sanctuary expansion incorporated sustainable design principles, featuring native landscaping and accessible spaces for meditation. We maintain active social justice programs addressing LGBTQ rights, reproductive freedom, and environmental stewardship while offering weekly worship opportunities and intergenerational learning experiences. Our governance model emphasizes collaborative leadership through elected boards and volunteer committees, ensuring alignment with our core values of fairness, love, and compassion.

Religious Education
We provide age-appropriate learning programs for children and adults that nurture spiritual growth and ethical development. Our curriculum teaches Unitarian Universalist principles through interactive exploration of world religions, science, and personal experience. Youth programs emphasize critical thinking while helping young people clarify their values and understand human diversity in a supportive environment.
Social Justice Programs
Our congregation actively works for justice through local and national initiatives addressing LGBTQ rights, reproductive freedom, and environmental sustainability. Members participate in community outreach programs like PADS homeless shelter and SMILE Project while advocating for systemic change. These efforts embody our commitment to transforming the world through collective action grounded in our core values.
Community Events
We offer diverse opportunities for connection including affinity groups, annual events, and social gatherings. Weekly Community Hour features refreshments and information about church activities while special events create spaces for celebration and learning. These programs help build relationships across generations and interests, fostering a sense of belonging within our inclusive spiritual community.
Spiritual Growth
Our lifelong learning programs explore philosophical and theological questions through discussion groups, meditation sessions, and educational workshops.
