Premier Golf Course at Moffett Field in Mountain View, CA
Established in 1959, Moffett Field Golf Club has provided Bay Area golfers with a unique playing experience for over six decades. Our 18-hole course, originally designed by Bob E. Baldock and expanded from its initial 9-hole configuration, combines challenging play with unparalleled views of San Francisco Bay and the surrounding mountains. Managed by OB Sports/Troon Golf since transitioning from federal oversight by NASA and the military, we maintain kikuyu grass fairways and poa annua greens that consistently rank among the Bay Area's best. Our location adjacent to NASA's Ames Research Center and the historic Hangar 1 creates a distinctive atmosphere where golfers might witness airfield activity or visit the onsite Burrowing Owl preserves. With 100 years of local history accessible through the Moffett Field Historical Society Museum, we offer more than just a round of golf - we provide a connection to the region's rich aviation and military heritage. Our team of PGA and LPGA professionals delivers expert instruction through junior programs and adult clinics, while our Flight Card membership provides year-round access to exclusive discounts and benefits. The Hangar Four Grill serves as both a post-round gathering spot and a destination for local residents seeking quality food and views. As stewards of this unique property, we maintain strict adherence to security protocols required for access to the NASA-leased airfield, ensuring both safety and convenience for our patrons.
